Setting Our Sustainability Standard

At Puma Safety, our Executive Sustainability Committee sets our sustainability standards. We do this through reducing as many chemicals in production as possible. This is because we are committed to sourcing materials from more sustainable providers. Ensuring a process that is better for our planet.

Meet Our Ethical Partners

Our team has partnered with global initiatives and organisations. This helps us make sure that our supply chain is as eco-friendly as possible. Which in turn ensures the right pollution control during the supply chain.

See some of our eco-friendly partners:

  • Leather Working Group: We’re with the largest ethical leather initiative in the world. This has resulted in us sourcing 99.9% of our leather materials from more sustainable sources.
  • The Better Cotton Initiative: Thanks to this partner, at least 99% of our materials come from  “More sustainable cotton.” This ranges from better cotton, organic cotton to recycled cotton.
  • BLUESIGN®:  We choose ethical polyester approved by  bluesign® or Oeko-Tex. This prevents toxic substances from being released during production.
  • Recycled Polyester: Polyester causes more waste to end up in land-fills, which leads to harm to our environment. Which is why we aim to use recycled ones across all products.
  • Forest Stewardship Council: We aim to use 100% certified or recycled paper by 2025. We make our bags, hangtags, and shoe boxes from mostly recycled paper.
  • Down Feathers: Since 2020, all our down feather products use 100% certified ethical down. This makes sure that the down comes from birds which have been well cared for.
